Beaver

As some of you might recall Brock drew our for the Beaver muzzleloader tag. A once in a lifetime tag.. Anyways, he took 12 days off of work and went and lived in Beaver canyon like a true Mtn. Man. We shot an elk but it ran off. We followed his blood trail for over 4 miles and never found our dead elk. We do not know if he lived or died. We will be going down hopefully a few more time before the snow to see if we can find him. It was so much fun. I enjoyed watching Brock get to hunt his elk and shoot him.. He was huge. It was a good shot too, I guess not good enough. I was only able to join him for 3 out of his 12 days and it just happened to be when I was there that we found our big elk and shot him. Beaver canyon is so beautiful during this time of year it was amazing all the colors. Here are some pictures from the trip.
